Halfway between Champsaur and Gapençais, the Bayard plateau rises to an altitude of 1250 m. The plateau houses an Oxygenation Center which operates year round (Winter Nordic skiing / Summer 18-hole golf course). The 9 trails groomed and laid out for the practice of cross-country skiing offer 50 km on a hilly profile, with small climbs, others longer and beautiful descents, ideal site for a sporting but also contemplative practice.

      SLOPES WITH A VIEW

      The slopes offer exceptional views of the peaks of the Champsaur valley, in particular the Vieux Chaillol (3163m). Special mention for the “Saint Laurent” trail which takes you 15 km around the wood of the same name, an exceptional route.

      Also to discover on the plateau, 3 paths for pedestrians and snowshoes from 4 to 6 km and a small toboggan run to delight all practitioners. Every Tuesday, Nocturne from 6.30 p.m. to 8.30 p.m.
